Charles, Blank, and Caleb return to Philadelphia and Charles is pressured into enrolling Little Sun Bird into a Finishing School.
Charles encounters a man that had owned a freight company. The railroad forced him to close his doors, and he has horses, wagons, and harness to sell.
After enrolling Sunbird into school, Charles finds a large orchard and stops to see if they have any plants available. He makes a surprising discovery and is tipped off to a farm where the owner died, and the farm and livestock are for sale. Charles travels to the farm and makes an amazing find while walking through the barns.
Charles receives an alarming telegram and decides to take the family and return to Denver.
Charles and Judith are confronted by Monica Rogers with an unusual request.
Charles’ Thoroughbred herd grows when the mares begin foaling, and folks start approaching Charles to buy some horses. One man won’t take no, for an answer, and tempers flare.

Not a lot of Enemies noted though, a fairly peaceful tale, though it has the potential to set up lots of situations on the future. Love the story
Can not classify western fiction because it is science fiction. Dimwit has fields of crops in the Denver area that don't produce well if at all in the altitude and climate of Denver.
WLC has penned the 31st Storm Warrior novel which includes a trip to Philly to see about the Ponderosa, the Philly property, new Denver property, new Philly property and the other farms and equipment needed to run 5 different prosperities. This is an excellent read for the genre.....ER

You need to read the books in the order they are written.
I have bought every Storm Warrior book. I anxiously await the next book. If you like clean written, absorbing, continuously interesting characters and western stories, this is the book for you. You can't put it down until the end. Then you want more. 😊
